Surfcasting at Montauk
There
are a few places in the world that conjure up awe inspiring vistas
and unforgettable fishing. It's nice to know that one of these
places is Montauk. With its teal colored waters, majestic lighthouse,
and panoramic views of Block Island, they all make fishing in
these waters an extra special treat. It is a Mecca for striped
bass fishing, which may be enjoyed during most months; however,
the best fishing is done in September. Montauk is one of the few
places on the East Coast where anglers can still experience a
'blitz' when migrating striped bass feed on bait fish that move
into shallow waters. Click
