Dustless sanders or grinders, essentially a sander with a vacuum attachment, can also be used to capture dust and scrapings from hull work.  These units can trap 98% of the paint dust generated from sanding.  Because they are so efficient, they are particularly suitable for those situations where work must be done outdoors or near the water.
