Liberty State Park is one of the nation’s great cultural, historic and natural treasures.  More than 5 million people visit the park each year, and in addition to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, the park also contains 234 acres of reemerging natural habitat. Ongoing restoration projects at the park include salt marsh restoration, wetland enhancement and vegetative buffer plantings.
