Shoreline Hubs for Outreach and Resilience (SHORE) is a regional network coordinated by NY Sea Grant for municipal staff and officials located on the New York’s Great Lakes coast, including the Niagara and St Lawrence Rivers. The purpose of the network is to facilitate connection to technical information and to develop solutions for local governments managing coastal issues such as erosion, flooding and other weather hazards, while fostering peer learning and collaboration amongst municipalities.

Activities are based around four priorities:

1. Foster intermunicipal connections and peer to peer learning
2. Build municipal knowledge and capacity
3. Improve municipal access to resources and support
4. Strengthen State and regional coordination and alignment
