A full service marina commonly engages in a number of activities that produce or use a variety of materials that have the potential to pollute if care is not taken in their handling and disposal.  Engine and hull repairs and maintenance, fueling operations, and cleaning activities all involve toxic substances that can cause problems if they are used improperly or allowed to get into the water.
