Syracuse, NY, February 17, 2016 - The Boating Information Center for the 2016 Central New York Boat Show at the New York State Fairgrounds in Syracuse from February 18 to 21 will feature:
- 2016 Discover Clean and Safe Boating campaign
- Aquatic invasive species prevention and management information
- Clean, Drain, Dry watercraft inspection information
- New York Sea Grant
- NYS Canal Corporation
- NYS Marine Services Bureau trailer
- U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary
- U.S. Power Squadron with a boating simulator
The centerpiece of the Boating Information Center is a 7-foot round boat that is the 2016 New York Sea Grant Discover Clean and Safe Boating educational vessel. Get a sneak peek of the round boat at the Central New York Boat Show prior it going public during the 2016 Clean campaign, which launches in April for the start of exhibit season.
The Boating Information Center is located at the entrance to the Exhibit Building, one of three buildings filled with hundreds of boats of all sizes and styles.
The 2016 Central New York Boat Show hours are 1 pm to 9 pm on Thursday, February 18 and Friday, February 19; 10 am to 9 pm on Saturday, February 20; and 10 am to 5 pm on Sunday, February 21. Admission is $10 per person, 13 and younger free. Free parking and shuttle are provided. Learn more at

New York Sea Grant (NYSG), a cooperative program of Cornell University
