Oswego, NY, January 9, 2023 - On Monday, December 5th and Friday, December 9th, New York Sea Grant and partners hosted two days of Great Lakes 101: Shoreline Permitting for Contractors Trainings.
The workshops, intended for shoreline contractors, residents and property managers, presented the details of shoreline permitting through Federal, state and local jurisdiction, while also portraying the information in the context of regional shoreline types and the coastal processes working along the shorelines that inform these coastal permitting decisions.
New York Sea Grant was joined by New York State Department of Environmental Conservations, New York State Department of State and the United States Army Corps of Engineers for these workshops.
