On this webinar, the District Manager and Sr. Environmental Planner from Suffolk County's Soil and Water Conservation District will talk about their Agriculture Environmental Management program that now includes aquaculture. The program allows them to work with farmers by providing guidance, planning assistance, and funding opportunities to assist aquaculture farmers on Long Island achieve their business goals and objectives while protecting and conserving natural resources. This is something the organization has been doing with terrestrial farmers for decades. All the information you share with them is confidential and is not subject to the Freedom of Information Act. Enrollment and assistance the program provides is free to all farmers, and they are always interested in helping farmers achieve their creative ideas.
