Larger marinas catering primarily to boats over 25 feet with holding tanks should consider installing pumpout facilities if they do not already have one.  The Federal Clean Vessel Act Program provides up to 75% of the cost of installing or upgrading facilities.  For more information about the availability of assistance call the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service or your state environmental protection agency.
