To the extent possible, storm water runoff management controls in marinas should focus on reducing the amount of runoff coming from the site and preventing water from flowing directly into the marina basin.  Impervious concrete or asphalt pavement should be minimized and limited to only those areas necessary for the marina’s operation.  Paved surfaces should be kept clean by routine sweeping or vacuuming.
