        Beach State Park is a 500-acre area managed by the New York State Office 
        of Parks, Recreation, and Historic Preservation. The park is open from 
        Memorial Day to Labor Day for swimming and camping, and the entire year 
        for hiking and cross-country skiing.To learn more about the park's

       Southwick 
        Beach State Park can be reached either from Route 3, or from Interstate-81. 
        Take Exit 40 off I-81 and head west on Route 193. Route 193 goes straight 
        to the main entrance road for Southwick Beach.
