Route 
          description: Travel south through Lakeview 
          Pond to a channel at its southern end which leads to Sandy Creek. If 
          you follow Sandy Creek to the right (west), you will eventually pass 
          Floodwood Pond on your left and approach the Lake Ontario outlet on 
          your right. 
        
For 
          a longer excursion, follow Sandy Creek to the left (east). The creek 
          eventually forks into two branches at the boundary of the Wildlife Management 
          Area. The island between these branches is private property. 
        
How 
          to get there: Pierrepont Place is 0.2 
          miles north of the intersection of Hessel Road and Route 3. The parking 
          area and boat launch for Lakeview Pond are at the end of Pierrepont 
          Place.
