The main goal of New York Sea Grant's (NYSG) research program is to generate and provide valid scientific information and tools that further the sustainable development, use, protection, conservation, and management of our coastal resources. The research must be driven by stakeholder-identified research needs and provide enhanced opportunities for NYSG to ‘make a difference’ and positively impact important coastal issues.
