Researchers from Cornell University's New York Sea Grant-funded 2017 Coastal Flooding Survey Project targeted New York waterfront properties from May 25th - August 31st. They collected qualitative data about parcel location, severity of inundation, flood insurance, severity of erosion, damage to shoreline protection, and overall impacts.
