NYSG Revises Teacher’s guide on Exploring the NY-NJ Harbor Estuary

Kingston, NY, September 01, 2009 - New York Sea Grant announces availability of the The New York-New Jersey Harbor Estuary Program’s revised “Exploring the Estuary! A Teacher’s guide to the New York New Jersey Harbor Estuary Region."

First produced in 2003, the updated guide highlights regional education organizations providing K-12 estuary-related field trips, lesson plans and classroom activities. The directory aims to introduce educators to the dynamic network of organizations and resources available to help students learn about the harbor.
