Full Call details and instructions to apply (pdf)

New York Sea Grant (NYSG) is pleased to announce its Biennial Research Call for 2020-2021.

The main goal of New York Sea Grant's (NYSG) research program is to generate and provide valid scientific information that will further the sustainable development, use, protection, conservation, and management of our coastal resources. The research must clearly be driven by stakeholder identified research needs and must provide enhanced opportunities for NYSG to ‘make a difference’ and have an impact on addressing important coastal issues.

Pre-proposals are invited specifically addressing portions of NYSG’s Strategic Plan for 2018-2021.

Research in many disciplines, including biology, chemistry, geology, physical oceanography, engineering, social science and others, will be appropriate.

Submission Deadline: Pre-proposals are due by 4:30 PM on Monday, February 25, 2019. Any submissions that are incomplete or received after the final deadline will not be accepted. You are encouraged to apply early! Submissions via e-mail or hard copy are not accepted.

Funding Interval: Two years, beginning 2/1/2020.

Questions: Contact Interim Director Katherine Bunting-Howarth at keb264@cornell.edu
